A peaceful place far from common international tourist routes, the last city on the north coast of Sao Paulo - Brazil, home to a state park, Ubatuba is one of the few places that still manages to preserve its nature.

The local culinary has its specialties, like fish cooked with coconut milk and "farofa" (manioc flour), "assai" ice-cream and much more that you can taste in the various restaurants of the town. All the dishes can be accompanied by the traditional caipirinha (with lemon) or with the innovative flavors such as "caipirinha caju" (tropical fruit) with orange slice and "gengibre" (root widely used in oriental cooking), pineapple with mint and the new one with grapes and basil.
Starting from here you can access to other areas of the coast, one of the most beautiful in Brazil: the historic city of Paraty, the exuberant Ilha Bela (beautiful island), the Picinguaba untouched beach, the alternative city of Trindade and continuing toward the Rio-Santos road, you can reach the Angra dos Reis archipelago and the city of Rio de Janeiro.
