Where Do You Go In Mexico?
There's something about Mexico that is simply enchanting. Vast and beautiful, it's not out of reach for any traveler, particularly not Americans.
But where do you choose to go in a country as large as Mexico? It can be difficult to decide, so you should probably have some background information on some of the top places to see.
Tulum
Most who visit Tulum are interested in the very well-preserved Mayan fortress that is on the shore. Off the shore of the Caribbean, there's lodging and plenty to see between the ruins and the beach.
Merida
Merida, the capital of the Yucatan state, was founded in the 16th century. It's the best place for exploring the Chichen Itza.
Los Cabos
Cabo has got great beaches. There's lots of wildlife action and day time activities. Note: Don't go during Spring Break unless you're ready for the throngs of young adults partying.
Cozumel
Cozumel is an island off of the shore of the Riviera Maya. If you choose to go here, check out the scuba diving!
Cancun
A lot of people, despite all of the tourists, believe that Cancun is the best beach-resort in Mexico. The sand is white, the water is teal, and there are activities everywhere for everyone.
